In the east of Chiang Mai we ride a large figure eight course in zigzag on small roads with little traffic. In the region of Doi Saket, after one third of the tour, we reach a solitary restaurant at the roadside. Then we continue our trip on a fast road with few bends. Near San Kampaeng, we again take a zigzag course through fields and hamlets. On our way back we cross our former path and soon reach our starting and end point.
Quite bemusing and demanding!
